You see me standing there on my own
You think it's time for you to take me home
But there's likely something you don't see
And that's I don't need you here with me
It's time for me to take the reins
Because frankly I don't feel the same
And I know you weren't expecting this
But you're just somebody that I won't miss
(Dawn to dawn, from the nighttime)
From the night to the day
To the day to the night
From the dusk to the dawn
Where did we go wrong?
I see you standing there on your own
I think it's time for me to take you home
But there's likely something I don't see
And that's you don't want to be with me
It's time for you to take the reins
Because frankly you don't feel the same
And I know I wasn't expecting this
But I'm just somebody that you won't miss
(Dawn to dawn, from the nighttime)
From the night to the day
To the day to the night
From the dusk to the dawn
Where did we go wrong?
Oooh yeah? Here with me?
Ooh woah woah
Oooh yeah? You don't feel the same?
Ooh woah woah
Oooh yeah? Here with me?
From the night to the day
To the day to the night
From the dusk to the dawn
Where did we go wrong?
Oooh yeah? You don't feel the same?
From the night to the day
To the day to the night
From the dusk to the dawn
Where did we go wrong?
(Dawn to dawn, from the nighttime)
From the night to the day
To the day to the night
From the dusk to the dawn
Where did we go wrong?
Noctural is an amazing album by the always amazing The Midnight. Although I prefer the first five tracks to the last two, this was something that I have been meaning to collect. Only one more of the main releases to go :)
PS Nocturnal is my favourite title track followed by Days of Thunder DJ Fazbear
So many sunny, feel good vibes, no wonder this album is cited as a pillar of the synthwave genre. Even today, this stands out from the crowd with all it's catchy and well crafted heart and soul. Hard to pick a favorite but...... John Ponton, III
Woozy, vocal-driven synthwave captures the spirit and feel of the ’80s, with tremendous choruses and neon-hot electronics. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 28, 2020
Lean, cutting synthwave with an industrial edge from this California artist, with icy keys slashing across thumping beats. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 22, 2021
