And a hope so strong
I’ve had all along
Every time I face the immoveable
And my beautiful youth
My naivety is nothing more than a short lived tyranny
Holiday
What you see is what I’ve been dreaming
Holiday
What you say you cannot believe in…
And the present comes
When the future goes
That which abides is unchangeable
And our beautiful hopes
Our eternal dreams
Are nothing more than a short lived tyranny
Holiday
What you see is what I’ve been dreaming
Holiday
What you say you cannot believe in…
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you see is what I’ve been dreaming
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you say you cannot believe in…
Cannot believe
Cannot believe
Feel control
Feel control…
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you see is what I’ve been dreaming
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you say you cannot believe in…
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you see is what I’ve been dreaming
Holiday (it’s a holiday)
What you say you cannot believe in…
Noctural is an amazing album by the always amazing The Midnight. Although I prefer the first five tracks to the last two, this was something that I have been meaning to collect. Only one more of the main releases to go :)
PS Nocturnal is my favourite title track followed by Days of Thunder DJ Fazbear
Darkwave synth that directly addresses our modern dystopian political environment, with proceeds going to the Voting Rights Project. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 17, 2018
Synthwave goes pop on the latest from UK artist LAU: Irresistible cotton-candy vocal melodies, and electronics that go off like fireworks. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 20, 2021
Night Drive by Timecop1983 was one of the first synthwave album I ever heard. At that time, I didn't know that it would become one of my favored synthpop albums of all time. I like the alternation between vocal and instrumental tracks. It gives you time to breath and prepares you for the next one. Of all the vocalists taking part in this project, I do have to admit in only knowing The Midnight, but all the other signers sound like they would be a blast to listen to in my spare time.
